Kirjoittajan ohjeet
Digitalisaatio sosiaalihuollossa -blogissa sosiaalialan toimijat voivat tuoda esiin ajankohtaisia sosiaalialan digitalisaatioon liittyviä teemoja.
Blogiin sopivien kirjoitusten pituus on noin 600–800 sanaa.

Writing instructions
In the “Sosiaalialan digitalisaatio” (Digitization in Social Welfare) blog, actors from the field of social welfare can highlight current topics related to digitalization in the field. The paper may be a short statement or a longer, analytical reflection with citations and / or links. The blog posts are intended to popularize science in a way that makes the scientific debate understandable to the general public, without abandoning the scientific level of the discussion.
Note, however, that the style of expression in blog posts is tight and the paragraphs are relatively short. If the text is based in part on sources, they should be mentioned. Mark the sources in the text as endnotes with square brackets and sequential numbering, eg "... According to Virtanen [1] ..." If you wish, you can link online sources directly to the text.
Blog posts are about 600-800 words long. The text can be written in Finnish, Swedish and English. In addition to texts, images and other visual material can be sent for publication. Writings and other material may be published under a pseudonym or under the authors' own names and titles. If the group of authors is large, it is not necessary to publish the names of all the authors. The administrators decide on the publication and, if necessary, help with the processing of the writing.
The premise is publicity and freedom of expression. However, when writing, follow Finnish legislation and good manners. All writing should take ethical considerations into account: text can be critical, but it must not offend any individuals, group of people, or organization. The text must respect the values of promoting justice, dignity, and well-being. If the text contains confidential information or violates the values stated above, the text cannot be published. Remember that, in principle, once published on a blog, it will not be deleted or changed.

- Lähde liikkeelle arjen kokemuksista ja tuo hiljaista tietoasi näkyväksi.
- Vaikka kirjoittaisit napakoita kannanottoja, kirjoita ihmistä kunnioittaen.
- Vältä kirjoittamisessa turhaa byrokraattista kieltä.
- On hyvä pitää mielessä, että kerran julkaistua materiaalia on vaikea saada pois internetistä.
- Mahdolliseen lähdemateriaaliin viittaaminen on hyvien käytäntöjen mukaista.
- Mikäli käytät lähdeviitteitä, merkitse lähteet tekstiin hakasulkuihin numerolla ja laita tekstin loppuun lähdeluettelo.
- Lähetä tekstisi lisäksi sähköpostin liitetiedostona yksi tai useampi kuva julkaistavaksi tekstin yhteydessä. Muistathan huolehtia tekijänoikeuksista!
- Käytä vain kuvia, joihin sinulla on käyttöoikeus. Netissä on palveluita (esim.

- Begin from everyday experiences and make your tacit knowledge visible.
- Even if you write vigorous statements, write with respect to the people.
- Avoid unnecessary bureaucratic language.
- It is good to keep in mind that once published material is difficult to get off the internet.
- It is good practice to refer to any source material.

- In addition to the text, you can send one or more images as an e-mail attachment for publication with the text. Remember to take care of copyright!
- Use only images to which you have access. There are services online (e.g. Unsplash.com) whose images can be used for free. Please read their terms of use before publishing.
